DJI teases imminent launch date of its rumored Hero 13 Black rival, the Osmo Action 5 Pro DJI has posted a teaser on X (formerly Twitter) that showcases some epic action videos and finishes with 'A Pro Rises', alongside a date of the new product's announcement, which is scheduled for September 19, 9AM EST (that's 6AM PT / 2PM BST). Most DJI rumors are pointing to the new product being the Osmo Action 5 Pro , which according to leaked specs looks like a promising GoPro Hero 13 Black rival for the title of best action camera . With the pro-focused angle of the teaser, those leaks look increasingly credible. DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro leak suggests it'll get a price hike, but for a very good reason Fresh DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro leaks seemingly reveal the euro pricing of the action cam's Adventure Combo bundle, together with our first look at some of the features it could include. According to prominent DJI leaker @JasperEllens on X (formerly Twitter), the Osmo Action 5 Pro Adventure Combo, which includes two additional batteries, a charging case and a 1.5m selfie stick, will cost €479. The list price in euros for the same Osmo Action 4 bundle on the DJI Store is €429, although it's currently on sale for €379, presumably in the lead-up to the rumored launch of the Osmo Action 5 Pro, tipped for later this month. That's a price hike of around 10% for the next-gen model, and by that logic we estimate US and UK pricing for the Adventure Combo to be around $449 / £419, though of course the Action 5 Pro will likely be available in the cheaper Standard Combo bundle too. 'China Week' kicks off with US restrictions on Chinese biotech The US House of Representatives is pursuing a string of bills aimed at reducing US reliance on Chinese tech and companies. Among the first to pass was The Biosecure Act aimed at protecting the US medical supply chain by restricting federal governments from using several Chinese biotech firms within their contracts. A vote is also expected to be held to decide whether Hong Kong's diplomatic offices in the US should be closed over concerns surrounding whether the special administrative region maintains strong enough autonomy from China. Forget the GoPro Hero 13 Black – this leaked Insta360 rival could offer 8K video and AI powers Buying a new action camera this year is going to be a tricky decision, judging by the latest leaks. Not only are we expecting two new GoPros (today) and a DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro , a new leak has suggested Insta360 could overshadow them both. Thanks to PhotoRumors , we now have our first image of what appears to be the Insta360 Ace Pro 2, a successor to the already very powerful Insta360 Ace Pro . Considering we described the latter as an "absolute monster" and one of the best action cameras so far, it could be worth the wait. The leak doesn't reveal a huge amount about the new Ace Pro 2's specs. DJI Neo leak gives us a taste of the drone's 4K video quality –and how noisy it might be The DJI Neo drone is all but official thanks to a succession of leaks over the past few weeks, but the reveals keep coming – and a new one gives us an idea of the kind of video quality we can expect, plus a taste of how it sounds in flight. The reliable DJI leaker @JasperEllens shared the DJI Neo-shot video in an X (formerly Twitter) post, which you can also watch on YouTube below. It's apparently shot at 4K resolution in an unedited form with no color corrections, giving us an idea of the out-of-camera quality. While YouTube compression and the fact that it's a leak means it's too soon for any definitive conclusions, the quality looks decent considering it's expected to be a tiny 135g drone that costs €199 (which converts to around $220 / £167 / AU$325).  The footage is quite crunchy and over-sharpened, but hopefully that's something that can be tweaked in both the s

GoPro confirms launch date for two new Hero action cams – but there's still no sign of the Max 2 GoPro, we've been expecting you. The action cam giant traditionally launches its new action cameras every September, and right on cue it's just announced an event for two new Hero models. One of those will almost certainly be the GoPro Hero 13 Black , and the other a new base model called the GoPro Hero. As GoPro's official X (formerly Twitter) account and homepage confirm, the date for your diary is September 4 at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST / 11pm AEST. GoPro is promising "two new cameras" for you to "choose your adventure".
